Setting up Traveltime Equations and Solving for Slowness

OBJECTIVE: Construct traveltime equations L s = t for data shown in picture below.

PROCEDURE:

1. Set up 7x4 system of traveltime equations associated with data shown in above figure. Ls=t, where 4x1 s is slowness vector and t is 7x1 traveltime vector.
2. Type matrix 7x4 matrix L into MATLAB, and vector 7x1 vector t of traveltimes. Find s vector by typing "s=inv(L'*L)*L'*t'".
